The Underline Public Meetings

Meetings will focus on hearing your thoughts and ideas on what you want to do and see on the future Underline. Guided by the consultant design team, James Corner Field Operations, the conversation will inform the Framework Plan and Demonstration projects’ scope as well as to set key priorities together with the community.

  1. Good and project with great intentions.

    And nice little drawing here. Yet Incorrect: Speed Bikes ("road bikes") cannot go there, for the most part.

    You see, one thing many people who don't bike still do not comprehend, is that "road bikes" go 15-30 MPH and need relatively smooth pavement and some space.

    The so called "bike paths" there and in many other places can only accommodate very slow, leisure/mountain bikes.

    So you can modify this utopic, inaccurate drawing for starters!

  2. Yes, utopic for sure. Where is noisy, ugly US-1? Oh yes, ten feet away. And the image of the boy flying a kite under the electrified "third rail" is as laughable as seeing a picture of a professional chemist transferring acid from one beaker held close to their face to another all while not wearing gloves or eye protection.

    Mind you, I'm all for sprucing up the M-Path. But don't make believe it'll be a garden paradise afterwards.
