Pinecrest Gardens starts off arts fest season

As we build up to our big event, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, which is President's Day weekend in February, the first art show of the season, the 12th Annual  Fine Arts Festival at Pinecrest Gardens is coming up this weekend; Saturday and Sunday, January 10 and 11.

The show is a juried show featuring original art in eight categories, national and international artists are part of the event, along with the art will be live music, food and the Little Sprouts Zone for the kids.

Billed as one of Florida’s premiere art shows, enjoy an afternoon surrounded by spectacular visual arts in a lush setting. There is a generous representation of the best artists. The festival is from 10 am to 5 pm, both days. Admission is free.

Parking is free, too. There is parking on the grounds and overflow parking access will also be available, with the Pinecrest People Mover making continuous stops for pick-up and drop-off from the following locations:

Pinecrest Elementary (10250 Red Road)

Palmetto Middle School (7351 SW 128 Street)

Miami Palmetto Senior High School (7460 SW 118 Street)
