Food truck goes bricks and mortar

Coconut Grove did not win the Curbed Cup Neighborhood contest; MiMo beat us, but I must say that with the news today of Ms. Cheezious opening their bricks and mortar location on February 1, across from the Vagamond Hotel, how could they not win?

 Ironically, the powers that be have always tried to keep Ms. Cheezious and the other food trucks outside the Grove, so it would have been an ironic thing if they had opened their bricks and mortar restaurant here, this way they would have a foothold in the Grove after all this time.

I do miss Food Truck Friday at the Coconut Grove Bank, but due to the construction there now, that had to be ended. I also miss parking in that lot as I did daily for years, but again, construction is started and things are changing.

    I love that truck!!! Ms Cheezious is the best!! Wish they were here too. - Is there another venue area or lot that could attract the trucks back? Maybe Grand - Douglas or Grand - Margret ?? on Fridays ,,, just wishing out loud.
