Vizcaya is presenting "Inside Vizcaya: Cooking Class with The Naked Bite," on Wednesday, November 12 at 6:30 pm.
Did you know that the Vizcaya Village used to be home to a working farm? James Deering's chef used produce and eggs from that farm to create meals in the then-standard farm-to-table style.
Now taking their cues from history and interpreting farm-to-table very literally Vizcaya hosts this first-ever dinner and cooking class in the Vizcaya Village (right next to our vegetable garden).
Chef Amber Antonelli of The Naked Bite will use produce grown on site to prepare a hearty three course vegetarian meal, encouraging you to indulge in very locally sourced ingredients and savor a delicious night under the stars.
Admission is $60 for members and $75 for non-members. Space is limited and registration is required.
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is located at 3251 South Miami Avenue. For more information, go to www.vizcaya.org or call 305-250-9133.
