Drive in Drop off Toy Drive at St. Stephen's

St. Stephen's AIDS Minstry is holding their annual DIDO — Drive In Drop Off Toy Drive Event on Saturday, December 14 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 2750 McFarlane Road.

Through this Toy Drive, St. Stephen's collects toys and gifts to bring holiday joy to needy children from infants to 18-year old young adults throughout Miami Dade County.

Their volunteer Elves will guide you into the parking lot, unload and collect your new unwrapped toys, gifts, cash or gift cards, offer you a cup of Starbucks coffee and a homemade holiday cookie, thank you and send you on your merry way.

It's that easy. You don’t even have to get out or park your car, scooter or bike!

Donations of cash, checks, gift cards, new/unused and unwrapped toys, books, or games will be accepted for children from infant to 18 years of age.

Please make Checks to St. Stephens AIDS Ministry. For more information or to be group or corporate sponsor please contact Mary Beth Garcia at 305-389-5156.

St. Stephen’s Church, AIDS Outreach Ministry collects toys, cash and gift cards every year to provide Holiday gifts to approximately 500-1000 needy children. Their clients include Food for Life, Lotus House, Camillus House, Care Resource Center, the Children’s Diagnostic Center and many more organizations throughout the city of Miami and Miami Dade County.

Once the toys, gift cards and cash are collected, St. Stephens sets up a store like environment for family and parents. They issue vouchers for the number of toys, based on their children’s needs, and they get to choose gifts for their loved ones. This process gives the parents and family members more dignity and empowers them, by allowing them to choose gifts personally for their children.
