Free shakes at Vicky's House for Golden Girls Day

To celebrate National Cheesecake Day on Tuesday, Lokal and Vicky's House, the milkshake shop on Commodore Plaza, celebrated by holding Golden Girls Day, sponsored by Popsugar.

The whole area was decked out, inside and out, with Golden Girls-themed items and swag. And inside Vicky's free full sized Golden Girls shakes were handed out, which is a regular item on their daily milkshake menu. The shake is a banana milkshake with cream cheese frosting rim, Golden Grahams Cereal, toffee bits, whipped cream, caramel, a Twinkie, vanilla wafer and a homemade blondie with a cherry on top.  It was a lot of fun and a lot of Grovites came out to enjoy.

 

From the second you approached the corner, you were greeted by Blanche, Sophia, Dorothy and Rose, who were right on top of the building. You couldn't miss them. It was a fun promotion and brought a lot of life to the neighborhood.
