Woman's Club celebrates 128th anniversary

The Woman's Club of Coconut Grove held their 128th Anniversary Gala in February. Over 80 guests enjoyed the evening full of friends, food and lots of history, there was a nine musician band, under the direction of Richard Vanderburg, July Banner was vocalist. A delicious menu by Timo completed the evening. Karen Cunningham was the event chair along with her team Pam Epstein, Ana Maria Haar, Nancy Buell, Fan Zhang, Toni Valarezo, Yvette Bravo, Lina Duque, Sho Lichtenstein and Carolyn Beame.

Kirk Munroe was the photographer and, unfortunately, Ruth Bryan Owen could not come. Played by: Grace Knight, Catherine Pendlebury, Freda McMillan, Peggy Austen, Sam Nordin, Sandy Riley, Irene Munroe and Ana Maria Haar, and that's Travis Kneff as Mr. Kirk Munroe.
