Galleries shared exciting art on Saturday night

It was so nice to see so many people out for Saturday night's gallery openings. The Gallery @ CGAF presented its latest exhibit “A Walk on the Wild Side” featuring African wildlife photos by Miami wildlife expert Ron Magill, who you may also know from Zoo Miami. That's Ron at left, with gallery host, Monty Trainer.

Ron's photography and his love, passion and admiration for wildlife and nature are evident in this exhibition.

Erika King, Ronnie Brooks and Theresa Calluori were out making the rounds on Saturday.

Atchana's Thai restaurant did the catering. These meatballs were delicious.

Ron's photos will be on display through January 25. Feel free to stop by the gallery weekdays to check them out - the gallery is at the Mayfair Atrium, near the bull sculpture.

Another gallery that had lots of exposure on Saturday is the Grove Fine Art Gallery at 3444 Main Highway. It was right next to the tree lighting so of course that brought people in. But the pop art kept them there admiring the quirky finds. They are open daily.
