Volunteer Day: Giving Thanks by Giving Back

Take a day to enjoy the great outdoors and give thanks by giving back to the community. On Saturday, November 17 . Join Park Rangers from 9 am to noon for a morning of coastal cleanup, landscape beautification, and exotic plant removal at The Barnacle. 


The park will provide free same-day park admission and a tour of the house museum for pre-registered volunteers. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. To register, please call 305-442-6866 or email Michael.Pinate@FloridaDEP.gov.


Minors require parental consent, and volunteers ages 14 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes. Long pants and sleeves, sun protection, and a water bottle are strongly recommended. No pets while volunteering, please.

The Barnacle Historic State Park is located at 3485 Main Highway.
