Legislative director to address Rotary

Dr. Ciereszko

The guest speaker at the October 4 Coconut Grove Rotary meeting will be Dr. Ana Ciereszko, legislative director for United Faculty of Miami Dade College. She will be discussing the constitutional amendments on the November ballot.

Dr. Ciereszko taught chemistry at the Kendall campus of Miami Dade College for almost 35 years until her retirement in 2010, and served in many leadership positions throughout her career. She has degrees from UM, Old Dominion University and FIU. She spends the legislative session in Tallahassee representing the interests of college faculty and unions.

The Rotary Club of Coconut Grove meets every Thursday at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, 2990 South Bayshore Drive at 12:30 pm. The cost of the meeting is $25 with lunch or $10 without lunch.
