Summer specials by Commodore Hospitality Group
At Farinelli 1937 they are started a happy hour this week. They have specials on wines by the bottle, starting at $16 and there is a "Bottle and Board" menu for $35, which is your choice of one wine bottle from their specials list and the chef's daily selection of cheese and charcuterie or a crudite board.
Peroni, La Rubia and Seasonal Beers are $4.00 and they have lite bites like buschetta ($6), Polenta Fritta ($7), Mini Margherita Pizza ($5) and a few other items.
Happy Hour at Farinelli 1937 is Monday through Thursday from 4 to 7 pm.
At La Rue Bistronomie they will start doing brunch this Sunday. "We plan on expanding it to both Saturday and Sunday but for now its just Sunday from 10:30 am-3:00 pm," says Javier Iribe, director of operations for the Commodore Hospitality Group.
There is a great promotion on the menu itself for two people that includes a bottle of sparkling with juices or rose and two entrees and one sweet treat or side for $60. The menu itself is quite large there is everything from soups to seafood and hors d'oeuvres and salads. There are omelettes, poached eggs, sandwiches, meats and sweets. There is a large wine menu and Mimosas, Bellinis, Kir Royals and much more. I haven't had a Kir Royal since Hatties in maybe 1989 or so in Center Grove. I think that's the last time!
Next week they will start a happy hour for La Rue as well, there will be lots of specials and lite bites and they will be featuring $1 oysters and more.
Strada in the Grove and La Rue Bistronomie will both be participating in Miami Spice this year. That is not until August. We'll share that menu when available.
All three restaurants are on Commodore Plaza, toward or on the Grand Avenue side.
