Issues and options for the West Grove
Five teams of FAU Engineering students are currently engaged in a year-long design course to prepare building concepts for actual parcels in the West Grove. This presentation marks the final report for three student teams, and the mid-way point for two student teams. This Community Discussion provides stake holders with the opportunity to see the final version of three concepts presented for community input at the February 3 Community Discussion.
It also provides an opportunity to review and comment on two work-in-progress concepts.
Participants will see what is allowed under current land development regulations, and have the opportunity to discuss any changes needed to protect the West Grove’s character. In addition, students from two groups will be seeking continuing input during the Summer and Fall Semesters as designs are modified to address serious concerns about preventing gentrification and fostering appropriate development.
This presentation is open to the public, there is no charge to attend.
