Art Box is celebrating Earth Day

On the second Saturday of every month, Art Box hosts a Family Art Workshop. It's a perfect way to spend your Saturday mornings with your loved ones while working together to create a work of art, getting creative, and learning about an art movement.  

Join their Family Workshop Series April 14, at 10:00 am, as they explore Earthworks in celebration of the upcoming Earth Day. This movement, distinguished for pushing the boundaries of what art can be, created a direct connection between artists and nature. The environment was seen as an active participant of the art making process; nature was a source of inspiration, and a resource for materials. Artists like Andy Goldsworthy, Nancy Holt and Robert Smithson took their art practices out of the studio and into the wild.
