He's dedicated to bringing artistic culture back

Dan Travieso (shown here) is at it again, after so many years hosting Festidan, he has a new concept called Coconut Groove.

"With all these new areas trending throughout Miami, I’m dedicated to bringing the energy, atmosphere and artistic culture back to the Grove," says Dan.

Coconut Groove focuses on creating and capturing high energy moments provided by musical artists through private and intimate showcases. Similar to the YouTube Channel “Boiler Room” these performances are recorded and streamed live. This allows the artists to use these performances as a platform to showcase their talent and abilities using social media as a tool.

"In order to create these moments, we plan on hosting a few events throughout the year where positive energy and groovy vibes are the focal point," he said.

You can see highlights from their first recording session which they did at the Grove Spot a few months ago here.

Their next event is Friday February 16, an Arts Festival Kick off happy hour and recording showcasing a few local artists and musicians.

Like Festidan, Dan intends to donate any proceeds to a local charity.

The February 16 event is at The Loft on Bayshore at 3601 S. Miami Avenue, a pop up venue.
