Is this a 'high security event'?
Did you receive a notice about Dinner Key Marina being closed on November 14 and 15 for a "high security event?"
This is because Francis Suarez is being sworn in as Mayor in that area.
They really are taking security serious. All parking and the entrance on 27th Avenue will be blocked off as well as the dock master's office.
Marina sticker parking will be allowed and a small area for boat owners.
I remember when Regalado was sworn in, it seems like the whole town showed up. I guess things weren't so secure at that time.
