South Florida's favorite food and wine event

Bali Ha'i at the Kampong is back on Sunday, March 26 for it's 23rd year. This is South Florida’s favorite garden party/food and wine fundraiser. It's a tropical botanic oasis in Coconut Grove. This is the perfect setting for the event, featuring an afternoon of garden beauty, pungent spices, handcrafted cocktails and fabulous food. A dazzling array of luxurious auction items will be available for bidding.

The event raises funds to maintain and enhance The Kampong’s tropical botanical collection, which is a living classroom and laboratory for visiting scientists, students, and garden visitors. David Fairchild introduced many of the plants now considered local.

Celebrate the Zen of The Kampong, with the unmatched tranquility and serenity of David and Marian Fairchild’s home and private garden. The Main Lawn will be filled with Miami’s hottest local restaurants, exotic cocktails, craft brews, fine wines, tropical fruits and a sensational silent auction. We are partnering with Edible South Florida to bring in the finest and freshest of local chefs. Above Abe and John from Krakatoa prepare their Indonesian cuisine.

Regarded as one of the most important food and wine events on the Miami social calendar, Bali Ha’i at The Kampong has sold out each of its twenty two years with over 450 upscale gourmets in attendance.
Restaurant/culinary participants announced to date include: Bianco Gelato, Bulla, Cao Chocolates, Charcoal, Honeybee Doughnuts, Gaucho Ranch, Ian’s Tropical Grill, Illegal Bakery, Krakatoa, La Fresa Francesa, Pisco and Nazca, Seasons Farm Fresh, Seven Dials, Strada in the Grove and Teena’s Pride, with more coming.
