Live art, live music, all over the Grove this Saturday

It's time for FAM Night again (Fashion, Art & Music) when the streets of Coconut Grove are taken over on Saturday, February 4 from 6 to 9 pm.

Galleries, restaurants, live music on the streets are all part of the free family-fun evening.

Featured destinations this month include Gallery Night at The Sonesta Coconut Grove Miami featuring Fine Art Photographer Sam Dobrow. Live music from Peanut Butter and Jelly at Spillover, Mario Vuksanovic Spanish Guitar at Allie & Chica, Sam Hart at Bianco Gelato, Gu Fidelis Guitar at Allie & Chica, TreeSwifts at Harry’s Pizza, Three Sheets to the Wind at Vinos in The Grove and more. 


The Williams McCall Gallery has a special screen printing show featuring Andy Warhol alumni. 

Pino and Picasso is featured at the Sonesta where an artist from Bottle & Bottega will show participants how to paint an iconic Miami Scene step by step as you're following along on your own canvas. They will provide all the art materials, supplies, instructions and a glass of wine to get the creative juices flowing. You will be able to take home your very own masterpiece. Also, guests who dine at Panorama & Sky Lounge that night will receive 20% off their bill.

Other talented acts and artists like R.C. Bailey will be sketching caricatures and Tarot by Nicky will be doing readings at GAP.

Cocowalk will host a StyleMarket. Boutiques, shops and restaurants throughout the business district will offer special discounts, extended hours and featured performers and artists.

KROMA gallery is having the opening of the Village West Renaissance exhibit from 6 to 9 pm. There is a Miami Black Arts workshop documenting historic works from 1969 to 1984 and Afrotech: The future of the Afro American Narrative featuring Mshindo Kuumba and Ashley Woods also featuring the Kurator App exhibit.

Kroma is at 3760 Grand Avenue.

The Coconut Grove Drum Circle is playing in front of The Barnacle and anyone can join in, they have extra drums, hula hoops and seats to spare.


FAM Night is sponsored by the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District to promote cultural tourism. The community event is free and open to the public.
