Free historic bike tour on Saturday
This weekend's historic bike ride features a district of unique charm and architecture, as well as profound change. Observe some of the remaining miniature early 20th-century cottages, shotgun houses, and frame vernacular abodes, juxtaposed with contemporary homes and apartments. View examples of responsible, coherent, and not-so-obliging development. Stop at a delightful new community park and garden. Throughout the tour, witness first-hand a growing community pride in a once marginal area.
Meet in front of City Hall at 9:30 am, the ride goes until about 12:30 pm. City Hall is at 3500 Pan American Drive, on Saturday, February 4.
