New features are part of this year's Arts Festival

There are a lot of new events taking place as part of this year's Coconut Grove Arts Festival, which is Saturday, Sunday and Monday, February 18-20.

The music showcase is live all three days with music from Snealo, Locos Por Juana, Greyhounds, The Erick Vick Band and so many more.

Festival entry is $15 per person for each day, $5 for 33133 residents. You may purchase them here.

As usual, on Saturday, February, 18, they are holding the Palette Breakfast, where you can meet and greet the artists while having breakfast with them.

The breakfast is from 8 to 10 am, hosted and held at the Ritz-Carlton (3300 SW 27 Avenue).

Cost is $100 which includes entrance to the festival, exclusive gourmet breakfast, valet parking Saturday morning at the Ritz-Carlton until 3 pm, one day hospitality to the Hospitality area, a 2017 commemorative poster and a 10% discount on artwork from participating artists.

Brian Reed, a beer industry professional is holding The Art of Beer Sensory, a special event as part of this year's Coconut Grove Arts Festival. On Saturday, February 18 at noon, experience beer like you never have before. Learn the proper way to experience beer from a sensory-analysis perspective, attributing sensory experiences to specific ingredients and building flavor vocabulary.

Another new thing this year is the Bayside VIP ticket for $75, which allows you admission to the festival, where you'll enjoy a new Bayside VIP section at Peacock Park. It also includes lite bites served daily from 1 to 4 pm, two complimentary drinks (beer, wine or spirits) with discounted pricing thereafter, complimentary soda and water, air conditioned restrooms, stage viewing and lounge seating.
