FAM Night - Fashion + Art + Music, is Saturday

Hope you'll stop by the Grove tree lighting at CocoWalk on Saturday night (8 pm), and stick around for FAM Night, when Fashion + Art + Music collide for a fun nigh tall around the Village.

Stroll the streets, see what you find. Who needs Art Basel when you have the Grove?

Urban Art Intensity is featured at KROMA Gallery (3670 Grand Avenue), take the free trolley down there from 6 to 9 pm and check out the African American works on paper from David C. Driskell Center at the University of Maryland.

A piece by Mr. Brainwash.
Not to be left out, enjoy live music and a pop-up jewelry artist at Condom USA. Enjoy discounts up to 20% off during FAM Night. They are next to the Sandbar at 3066 Grand Avenue. From 6 to 9 pm.

A Pop Art Exhbit takes place at Frameworks (3796 Commodore Plaza) from 6 to 9 pm. Featured are Mr. Brainwash, Banksy, Haring, Indiana, Lichtenstein, Frankenthaler, Dine, Wesselmann and more. This is my kind of show.

The Armando Colls show is at the Sonesta Hotel (2889 McFarlane Road). Enjoy champagne and nibbly things in the lobby, which is turned into an elegant gallery. Native Floridian, Armando is a landscape and still life photographer.

Our pals at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival Gallery are offering a showing by R.C. Bailey (as opposed to R.C. Cola), Bailey a Florida resident for over 40 years is a self described, "Turn-of-the-Century Post-Raphaelite artist." If you see his work, left, you'll know what he means.

Also, if you just stroll around you'll find musicians playing all over the place. The Drum Circle is at the entrance to The Barnacle from 6 to 10 pm.
