Call to artists for Gifford Lane Art Stroll poster

The Sixth Annual Gifford Lane Art Stroll Poster Artist Contest has been announced for the March 5, 2017 Stroll. This is the 19th year for the Stroll itself. (Here's story and pics from last year's Stroll)

The winning artist will receive a free booth space and all the recognition they can bestow upon them, like being announced here in the Grapevine. The Stroll will use the winning design for the poster, postcard, and all promotional materials for the 2017 Gifford Lane Art Stroll.

The rules are as follows:
- Must be signed original artwork
- Art should be sent as attached jpeg files
- If chosen files must be available in hi-res 300 dpi or better
- Art is to be submitted via email to giffordlaneartstroll@gmail.com
- Limit of 2 submissions per artist
- Image must be able to be sized into 5x7 and 18 x 12 . 
- Deadline for submissions is December 19, 2016

The winner will be notified no later than January 9, 2017

Entries that are not selected will be deleted.

For the 2017 Poster Artist:
If accepted, The Gifford Lane Art Stroll has my permission to reproduce my artwork for the purpose of advertising and marketing the Stroll.The Gifford Lane Art Stroll also has my permission to publish photographs or videos taken of my booth, my work and me during the Festival for purposes related to promotion of the Stroll, past or future.
If selected as the poster artist, I understand that there will be no additional remuneration, or compensation beyond the waiver of the Artist Booth Fee.

Upon completion of the Stroll, all ownership and rights to the original images will revert to the artist.
