All-Grove Crime Watch meeting is Wednesday

The next All-Grove Crime Watch meeting is Wednesday, September 14, from 7 to 8:30 pm. The group meets at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church (2750 McFarlane Road). The meeting room is at the rear of the church property and signs will be posted. On-site parking is available in the church's lot and there is no charge for those attending the meeting. Inform the parking attendant that you are going to the referenced meeting.

The meetings are open to all residents and highlights include the following:

      Commander Morales will provide details of recent criminal activity in the Grove. 
      An Asst. State Attorney will provide information regarding court cases of offenders in the Grove. 
      A representative from the BID, (Business Improvement District), will cover new activity in the Grove's business district. 
      Anthony Balzebre, District Liaison, Office of Commissioner Ken Russell, will provide information regarding District 2. 
      Other topics covered include the ongoing court watch and code enforcement programs.

Attendees will hear about personal incidents in all zones and how they were handled by the police department; and, they will also have the opportunity to provide their concerns, or discuss afterward, with Commander Morales or one of his officers.
