Fireworks to top of July 4th in the Grove

Just a reminder that July 4th is a busy day in the Grove - lots to do topped off with a fireworks show at Peacock Park, sponsored by Commissioner Ken Russell's office and the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District.

Before the fireworks, there are activities throughout Coconut Grove during the day, including The Barnacle’s Old-Fashioned Picnic from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and CocoWalk’s Annual Independence Day Celebration and Hot Dog Eating Competition from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. The actual hot dog eating contest starts at about 3:00 pm.

Peacock Park opens at 6:00 pm, entertainment includes, a live DJ, The Miami Marlins Energy Team, games and raffles. Pack a picnic, blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy the fireworks show at 9:00 pm.

This event is free and open to the public.
