Gallery Night adds more galleries to the fun
Boswell Mourot Fine Art with our friend Hans Feyerabend's work featured (this is one of his pieces above). They are open from 7 to 9:30 pm, located at 3162 Commodore Plaza. I love this large, open gallery, if you have not been there, please visit, you will like the space and especially the art.
I'm pleased to see that Kroma will be open featuring their Tempus Fugit exhibit, they are open from 6 to 10 pm, just hop on the free trolley and you'll be left off right out front, they are at 3670 Grand Avenue.
Note: There are two trolley routes - once the trolley comes up Mary Street onto Grand, it will either turn onto McDonald and go toward Bird Avenue or go straight down Grand Avenue to Douglas. Ask the driver before getting on, so you don't end up at Home Depot!
The Coconut Grove Arts Festival Gallery is presenting the work of Aimee Perez. If you didn't get a chance to see Aimee's work last month, this is your chance. The exhibit is called, "Mapping the Heart." It reminds me a bit of Steampunk, so it fits well with Kroma's theme. They are open from 7 to 10 pm at the Mayfair Atrium.
The Williams McCall Gallery at FrameWorks, is featuring Alex Katz, Lee Brock, Ernie Bynum, Debbie Carfagno, Eliot Hess and Lisa Remeny as part of Saturday's Gallery Walk Night. Stop by from 6 to 9 pm for art, friends and refreshments.
FrameWorks is at 3196 Commodore Plaza
The Sonesta Hotel is having a champagne reception featuring the Blooming Collection, which will debut some new pieces. Their reception is from 7 to 10 pm.
The Sonesta is located at 2889 McFarlane Road.
