Dog days on Sunday
There was live music and entertainment, dog adoptions, food trucks, a doggie fashion show and lots more. There were so many cute dogs out, and so many people had more than one dog with them as they proudly strided into the event.
The food trucks of course are a favorite of mine and the whole thing was like one big doggy park with anything you could imagine.

This looks like a great event but it should NOT be held on an asphalt surface where dogs' feet can be burned. Too many people fail to think about how hot pavement can get, and while dogs' paw pads provide some protection, they are not designed to withstand hot pavement. This event should be moved to Regatta Park so our dogs -- the animals this event is held in honor of -- can enjoy it as well.
