DeBlois Milledge performs at The Barnacle
Bringing an acoustic, folk, pop mix, the concert will highlight the musical stylings of a hometown girl. A Miami native and a prolific songwriter, DeBlois has four solo EPs from her time growing up in South Florida (Palmetto and Pine, Nobody Out, Leviathan and Velveteen) and four more with her San Diego based band The Boundary Birds (While You’re Waiting, Night Painting, Gems, and The Boundary Birds).
The concert is 6:30-8:30 pm and the gate opens one hour before show time for ticket sales.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for members of The Barnacle Society, $3 for children ages 6 to 9, and free for children ages 5 and under. Picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs are welcome, but pets are not permitted during evening programs. On-street and off-street paid parking is available throughout Coconut Grove. Visitors with a Disabled Person Parking Permit may call the Ranger Station for additional parking information 305-442-6866.
The Barnacle concerts are always fun, you’ll see children playing next to the bay, friends and family sprawled out on the lawn with picnic baskets full of goodies, local musicians honoring the craft of songwriting, and neighbors just enjoying each other’s company. There really is not a better way to spend an evening in Coconut Grove.
Concerts are held every second Sunday in the months September-May.
Celebrating 125 years in Coconut Grove, The Barnacle Historic State Park is located at 3485 Main Highway.
