St. Alban's Fair to celebrate 67 years of service
St. Alban’s programs are designed to help children and families develop competence and independence through education, health, mental health, nutrition, disability, and social services. This celebration will not only recognize St. Alban’s 67 years of service to the community, but also to bring together organizations that share in their mission to support children and families.
During the fair, community members, families and children can enjoy music provided by a live DJ, activities for kids, face painting, a book fair, cotton candy, popcorn machines, and more. There will be food trucks available for food purchase. Key community organizations will be represented with informational booths throughout the fair as well as on site services such as health and dental services. The fire department will bring its fire truck for kids to explore and there will also be a mobile health bus and a blood drive.
Guests will have an opportunity to support St. Alban’s through silent auction items that will be available for bidding. Items from the auction were donated by local businesses. Proceeds from the silent auctions will help support programming for children and families.
Special guest speeches from the Deputy Mayor, Russell Benford; Commissioner Ken Russell; and Commissioner Xavier Suarez will take place during the event. The children of St. Alban’s will be giving a special performance and will also display their artistic talents in a special Art Expo. St. Alban’s alumni and parents will also be sharing their experiences with St. Alban’s programs.
This fair has been made possible through special sponsorship and support from Norma Jean of the Anthony Abraham Foundation, Evensky Katz/Foldes Financial Wealth Management, the Board of Directors of St. Alban’s, and local businesses.
