The wall

Ancient Greece? Rome? Nope. It's part of the wall at Mayfair in the Grove on Rice Street and Florida Avenue.

Has this been there since the Mayfair's completion? Please say no. I've walked about several times to marvel at the art incorporated into Mayfair and I missed this one. How could anyone have missed this great piece of art!? Please say I'm not alone. Jobie Steppe

About 1984 these figures and most of the sculpted facade of Mayfair was done by an artist that lived next door to a friend of mine that lived in Miami Springs.

Ken Treister, an artist beyond compare. We were very lucky that it was he who designed Mayfair.
