This is one thing that makes the Grove, The Grove! I always feel good seeing these wonderful, beautiful birds, every single time. And I appreciate those who say "OH YES, but try sleeping with them on your roof". Jobie Steppe
Birds, dogs and cats should rule the Grove. Pedestrians, cyclists and runners 2nd. Chilling motorists 3rd. New Politicians 4th. Greedy developers last.
On and around Gifford Lane, where the Gifford Land Art Stroll occurs baby carriages are 1st, then dogs and usually both at the same time, pedestrians are about constantly, cats are always peering through fences and from under the brush, on rare occasions pearcocks strut, squirrels rule the oak tree lining Gifford lane, birds line up when the berries ferment and at times fall from the trees, bumping into each other and literally falling over and then there's Trina Collins straining to hold back Charlie on a leash as he engages everyone and all other life forms, anything and everything with doggy conversation.
