TEDx featured at Ransom Everglades
The event, "Dream," on February 5, from 2 to 8 pm, will feature speakers such as Romero Britto, who will speak on Art; Batia Cohen - Spirit; Maia Mora, a freshman at Ransom, who will speak onPerspective; pop artist Eric Lewis, and so many more. Tickets are $50 for adults and $10 for students.
TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) has created a program called TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. This event is called TEDxCoconutGrove, where x = independently organized TED event. At the TEDxCoconutGrove event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including this, are self-organized.
