The Haunted Ballet at The Barnacle

The Haunted Ballet at The Barnacle is taking place October 28 and 29 at 8:30 pm each night. This is Grovite Crystal Peattie's vision, she is the creator and founder of the ballet.

"I will be featuring some of Miami’s greatest dancers to perform small solos, duets, and trios to be acted out in various places around the estate.  Through movement, they’ll be telling the 'ghost' stories of the people who walked upon this land over a century ago. There will be beautiful music, unique costume design, and stunning visuals that would make this show a feast for all art lovers. Although it will be eerie, it’s more on the side of romantic and dreamy, a true haunting," says Crystal.

After training at The Florida Ballet School, The Graham School and The Ailey School, Crystal attained her BFA from New World School of The Arts in Miami, in 2007 under the direction of Daniel Lewis.
