Shake-A-Leg Water Sports Happy Hour

Shake-A-Leg Miami is hosting its next Water Sports Happy Hour event on Thursday, October 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.  

The happy hour is intended to encourage people from the Coconut Grove community to drop by and enjoy some of the activities that happen every day at the Biscayne Bay harbor front facilities. Enjoy free Happy Hour sailing as a crew member on one of Shake-A-Leg's 20 foot sailboats. Kayak and stand-up paddle board rentals are half price, at $10.  Miami Kiteboarding will be giving demos of the exciting sport of kiteboarding.  

Shake-A-Leg is offering food, drink and live music. Their emphasis is to use the marine environment to improve the health, education and independence of people with disabilities, disadvantaged youth and their families. The days at Shake-A-Leg are filled with laughter, exploration, successes and accomplishments, no matter their abilities.  

Paddleboarding, kayaking and sailing begin at 4:00 pm.  Live music kicks in at 6 pm.  The raffle will close the event at 8 pm.  Life vests are available for all water-based activities. The facilities are fully accessible.
