Grove Sports Club, formerly Grove Softball, announced the
addition of two new coed sports to Coconut Grove during
the weeknights. In addition to softball,
Grove Sports Club is now offering Ultimate Frisbee (Tuesday) and Kickball
(Thursday). Last week, Eric Pino and
Adam Scholer from Castaways Against Cancer threw
out the ceremonial first throw in the inaugural Ultimate Frisbee league at
Peacock Park. Above from left, Adam Scholer, Eric Pino and Steve Frigo from Grove Sports Club.
Games are played Monday through
Thursday (depending on the sport), from 7 to 10 pm. Leagues are open to all skill levels as long
as the players are 21+. Grove Sports
Club also offers free pickup games (for all different sports) throughout the entire
year. Following each game, club members
head to Sandbar to socialize.
This is a different type of adult co-ed sports club. Although club members enjoy sports and thrive
on their competitive nature, they focus on having fun, getting to know each
other off the field, and giving back to our community. As you may or may not have noticed, there are
3 symbolic T’s in GSC’s logo. They
represent the 3 T’s of charitable giving, Time, Talent, and Treasure. By using their 3 T’s, Grove Sports Club partners
with local charities in order to help make our community a better place.
Grove
Sports Club is currently looking for new teams, small groups, and individuals
as well as charity partners for our upcoming seasons. Use coupon code
15offkickball for $15 off kickball until August 16. Limited Space
is available. Register today at www.grovesportsclub.com .
Play. Party. Donate. Repeat.
