The Great Grove Bed Race is back again this fall. On Saturday, November 7 from 11 am to 5 pm, the popular Grove event will be taking over the streets again. It's called Bed Race Evolution this year because there are some changes.
This years the event is empowering the runners with an opportunity to raise awareness, raise funds and race for the nonprofit of their choice. So now everybody's charity wins!
“We changed our nonprofit mission for 2015, we are looking to provide funding and awareness to a group of nonprofits instead of only one. We encourage our racers to pick something that they are most passionate about and race their hearts out. We believe our teams will have a level of motivation that will far exceed our expectations this year," says Co-Producer, Barbara Ferenczi.

In past years, there was one or two charities that benefited from the race, usually chosen by the Bed Race team or the Grand Marshal.
As usual, in the 7th annual Bed Race, Teams consist of five members - four racers and one rider - and speed takes the ultimate checkered flag while top awards of the day are for décor, engineering, crowd favorite and just plain funniest.
Teams race in four divisions (Men, Women, Co-Ed and Corporate). Some race for speed and some for show. All race for their cause.
