Obama and Hillary Clinton visit Coconut Grove
We've had a busy couple of days politically in Coconut Grove. Last night President Obama arrived and met with and had dinner with a couple of Coconut Grove families and fundraisers in the North Grove and then the South Grove, he spent the night and then went around the county visiting places like the Hurricane Center out at FIU and then stopped at La Ermita de Caridad next to Mercy Hospital midday today. Traffic was backed up for blocks at that time, along South Bayshore Drive. Obama just entered the church with his security detail, startling and delighting the worshipers.
A friend got some great photos of Obama holding his grandchild, right out in front of his house on Micanopy, it seems to be a successful trip.
This afternoon, Hillary Clinton is in town, she is expected at the Moorings neighborhood tonight. Right on cue, you may see a bunch of protesters protesting outside the neighborhood on Main Highway. They are protesting the Clintons, the Bushes, the war, you name it.

Interesting that Hillary drew protesters but not Obama. They Hillary haters are already out in force. She's the gift that keeps on giving to these folks.
