Celebrate Commodore Munroe's 164th birthday

Join members of The Barnacle Society as they honor Commodore Ralph Middleton Munroe’s 164th birthday with a buffet dinner, birthday cake, live music, and a silent auction on the scenic bay-front grounds of The Barnacle, Munroe’s historic home at 3485 Main Highway. The event is Sunday, March 29 from 6 to 9 pm. Come out to commemorate the life of one of Coconut Grove's most charming and influential pioneers.

Period costumes from 1851-1933 are welcome. Tickets purchased by March 26 are $40 for members of The Barnacle Society, $50 for non-members, and $10 for children ages 10 and under. At the gate, tickets are $60. To RSVP please visit TheBarnacle.org or call 305-442-6866.

Proceeds generated by The Commodore’s Birthday Party support fire protection for The Barnacle. This event is sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., a volunteer non-profit, citizen supported organization created to generate public awareness, education, and financial support for the preservation and maintenance of this historic site. The Barnacle Historic State Park is administered by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
