New pop-up gallery features South American art
The Valenzuela Klenner Galeria, a well known art gallery in Bogota, Colombia is here in Coconut Grove as a pop-up gallery for a bit of December, they are open 7 days a week until Thursday, December 18. The gallery is located at the former Goose club space at 3008 Grand Avenue, it's worth a visit.
The space has been painted out white and the art is accommodated by the sparseness of the space. They are open daily from 11 am to 7 pm.
Jairo Valenzuela, director of the gallery, in Bogotá, is the curator here. The Valenzuela Klenner Galeria is considered to be the pioneer gallery in Colombia for Contemporary Art.
Artist include Liliana Angulo, Karen Paulina Biswell, Carlos Bonil, Elkin Calderon, Jose Covo, Lina Gonzalez, Miguel Kuan, Juan Mejia, Lucas Ospina, Edinson Quinones, Jose Alejandro Restrepo, Edwin Sanchez and Liliana Velez.
