Henry Perez opening party at Mayfair Hotel rooftop

An exhibit at the Mayfair Hotel will bring Coconut Grove into the Art Basel fray with the opening reception party of Henry Perez's work, "La force de femmes au naturel." 

This is a celebration of Miami's leading ladies of glamour featuring portraits taken by Henry. This features 50 images without any retouching, honoring the spirit and power of women leaders.

"I feel grateful, humble and extremely excited to have been selected to show my work during Art Basel Week,” said Perez. "Having covered Art Basel Miami Beach as a photographer since 2006, I have been able to appreciate the great opportunities it brings to artists and how it can affect their future."

"The exhibit is all about the beauty and power of women. It’s my way to honor and pay tribute to the beauty of women in general,” said Perez. “I am immensely lucky to have these amazing women be part of my ‘La Femme' collection," he added.

The event will benefit the Sabrina Cohen Foundation for individuals living with paralysis.

The event is Monday, December 1, from 7 to 9 pm, on the rooftop of the Mayfair at 3000 Florida Avenue. Hors d'oeuvres and complimentary wine will be served. It's free and open to the public. The exhibit will remain all during Basel week, so you can stop in any time to view the art.
