Contemporary Arts Project (CAP): An Evolution

Vizcaya is presenting the Contemporary Arts Project (CAP): An Evolution on Wednesday, November 5 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm in the Main House Courtyard.

Over the years, they've learned a thing or two about what it means for the museum, its visitors and artists to commission contemporary art at an historic place. They're taking the opportunity to reflect: bringing back past CAP artists, connecting with this year's artists and positioning where they might take the future of contemporary art at Vizcaya.

Explore the evolution of CAP at Vizcaya with a discussion moderated by Susan Caraballo of ArtCenter/South Florida and featuring:
Susan Caraballo - Moderator, former CAP Assistant Curator/Producer
Gina Wouters - Curator, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
Gustavo Matamoros - Vizcaya CAP Artist 2007/2013
Naomi Fisher - Vizcaya CAP Artist 2012
Ernesto Oroza - Vizcaya CAP Artist 2011
Robert Chambers - Vizcaya CAP Artist 2013
Felecia Carlisle - Vizcaya CAP Artist 2014
Jacek Kolasinski - Vizcaya CAP Collaborator 2014; Chairperson and Associate Professor: Digital Media, FIU College of Architecture and The Arts
