In the Nick of Time celebrates new album

The Parents' Choice Award winning duo of Nick Deysher and Tracey Freitag, is thrilled to return home for a family show celebrating the release of their new album, "Fun O'Clock," on Sunday, October 19 at 3:00 pm, at Frost School of Music's Gusman Concert Hall, 1314 Miller Drive, Coral Gables.

Highlighting In The Nick of Time's Festival Miami show will be a bunch of new songs from Fun O'Clock, along with classic hits from the duo's previous releases, Making Silly Faces; People, Places and Things and Coconut Groove. With Nick and Tracey's tight vocal harmonies, Nick's skillful guitar work, and Tracey's excellence on percussion and ukulele, this will be a fun family event.

They're noted for songs that draw on a large expanse of musical influences. Fun O''Clock is a trip through the decades of more than 100 years of popular music and a bit of a journey around the globe, with musical styles ranging from classic rock and roll, jazz, country, and '80s hip-hop to ska/reggae, Celtic, indie rock, and even a little Renaissance.

Nick and Tracey will lead the crowd in hand motions, teach everyone some amazing dance moves, and introduce their puppet friends to kids. In The Nick of Time's motto is "Music is for all, big and small!" Their shows are ideal for children between the ages of 2 and 8, but the grown-ups in the audience are often the ones who shout for more!

The Festival Miami show will be extra special for Nick and Tracey, as it will mark a reunion with many of the friends and fans the husband and wife team made when they lived and performed in the Miami area during and after Nick's graduate studies at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. Nick and Tracey are excited about returning to the place where their adventures in kids' music really took off and where Nick earned the affectionate nickname "The Toddler Whisperer" for his ability to connect with young children.

Tickets are $15 adults; $10 children from 2-12 years and for children under 2, it's free.  You may purchase tickets here.
