The Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch is this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5, open from 10 am to 6 pm both days.

There will be over 5000 pumpkins and lots of other great family-friendly things to do. There's a kids Hay Maze, Dress Your Scarecrow, kiddie carnival rides, shows and activities, a petting zoo, a decorate your pumpkin tent, and my favorite, a pumpkin food court and a pumpkin beer garden.

Some of the pumpkin foods include pumpkin pies of course and funnel cake, quiche, crepes, curry shish-kabobs and so much more, all featuring pumpkin.

There are all the regular fair favorites too, from gyros to chicken, etc. These are not-pumpkin related.

The pumpkins range from $1.00 to $15.00, depending on size. The decorating station is just $5.00 per pumpkin.

Entrance fee is $10 for general admission and $15 for kids; babies under 24 months are free.

The entrance fee includes unlimited rides for kids, the kids hay bale maze, all shows and activities, dress-your-own scarecrow village, hillbilly hay ride and the petting zoo.
