Film tribute to Robin Williams at the Drive-in
Featured the week of September 15 through 18 are, "Mrs. Doubtfire," "The Birdcage," "Good Morning Vietnam" and "Dead Poet's Society," all including a special "Mork and Mindy" pre-show.
All screenings start at 8 pm at the Blue Starlite which is at the Coconut Grove Playhouse lot, 3500 Main Highway.
September 15 and 17, "Good Morning Vietnam" and "Dead Poets Society," are playing, on September 16 and 18, "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "The Birdcage" are playing.
Tickets are $25 for one car with two passengers, each additional passenger is $5. For walk-ins, the ticket is $7 per person.
The Blue Starlite Drive-in is the world's first mini-urban drive-in movie theater, as NBC News recently referred to it, it is the "drive-in of the future." It's a "boutique" drive-in, with space for about 50 cars. There are authentic concessions, real drive-in speakers and is "hip, yet authentic."

BTW, "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" is playing September 10 and 11. That should be a great movie outdoors at the drive-in. And "Clueless," "Godzilla" and "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and "Dirty Dancing" are all part of September's offerings. Also, "Jurrasic Park" and "Jaws" and quite a few others.
