Coconut Grove music camps enrolling now

Summer Music Camps are enrolling for July 21-25 at Miami Conservatory of Music for groups for ages 5-7 and ages 8 and up. Registration is now open.

For younger children they feature "Music Discovery" where kids will enjoy hands on opportunities to explore a variety of instruments like piano, guitar, violin, voice and percussion with the guidance of professional musicians. On the final day parents can come and see them perform for the first time on their instruments.

The "Making Music" group lets children 8 and older learn and play different instruments and compose their own music which will be recorded on a computer. At the end of the camp students showcase their talent and present a mini-musical production.

The Conservatory of Music is located at the Mayfair Promenade off of Florida Avenue.
