Lively Saturday night scene in Center Grove
From Commodore Plaza up Main Highway and around to Grand Avenue there was lots going on. Live music was all over the Grove. Fifteen live bands played and all the galleries had something going on, in between the boutiques joined in, too with lots of fashion.
As you walked from one band to another, it was a nice sensation. You would hear the music faintly and then as you approached the musicians playing, you would hear it louder and then be right upon them. As you left them and walked down the block, their music would fade out and then you would hear new music fading in, which was the next band, it was a constant music scene all night. And there live art being done on the streets from the corner of Fuller and Grand to a caricature artist in front of CocoWalk.
This is what the Grove needs - live music and live art on the streets every Saturday night. Let's go back to our roots. It works.

loved it! hope it continues to grow
Agreed. It was the most fun I've had out in the grove in a long time. However, I think it wrapped up too early. we couldn't make it out till after 9, and the music ended, and it seemed like people started streaming out of the grove. Would it hurt anything to allow it to go till 11?
And yes, this needs to be every weekend, or at least every other weekend.
