Orchid workshop at Vizcaya

Vizcaya's is holding an orchid workshop on Saturday, April 5 from 10 to 11:30 am. Cost is $25, tickets may be purhcased at the event at the ticket booth beginning at 9:30 am.

An admirer of orchids, James Deering had a special garden created just for them, but they didn't flourish. As Deering learned, orchids are not "set 'em and forget 'em" kinds of plants. Join Carol De Biase, Vizcaya's Curator of Orchids, for a hands-on, troubleshooting workshop and learn what not to do with these simple, yet fickle, tropical beauties.

Workshop and admission to Vizcaya is included in ticket price. Space is limited.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is located at 3251 South Miami Avenue.
