30 venues part of Saturday's FAM Night

Fashion + Art + Music Night returns on Saturday, April 5, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm in Coconut Grove’s business district. FAM Night is an all encompassing cultural entertainment with more than 30 boutiques, art galleries’ and musicians participating.

New Grove merchants such as Oasis Lounge and Hookah Bar will join in on the cultural celebration by hosting local artist "Legend", who will be exhibiting original artworks of refurbished materials found in the Grove and live acoustic music by New Orleans native, Johnny B. Jacquie and her Silverado Boutique on Fuller Street is set to showcase European artist Biljana Pesic paintings. In addition, new-signed sculptures and pottery by Native American Indian artisans will be on display for purchase. Out of Africa Gallery and Boutique will present mixed media and assemblage artist, the Grove’s very own, Michael Tames.

Returning FAM participant, Goldie Boutique, will host a trunk show introducing Puerto Rican fashion designer, Astrid Perez, exclusive summer collection with all the color and rhythms of the island's flare.  Additionally, Blu Moon Studio of Art and Milda Bublys Design will be instructing free workshops for fashionable tweens and adults interested in creating miniature works of art to be traded or treasured!

Other participants include Boswell Mourot Fine Art, CocoWalk, The Bookstore in the Grove, Coconut Grove Arts Festival, Nikki’s Beachhouse Boutique, Ramona LaRue by Arianne, Allie & Chica, Brenda’s Boutique and FrameWorks, featuring local photographer Tom Smith and also the photography students of Ransom Everglades

Every first Saturday of the month, this signature event offers locals and visitors new discoveries of original and unique art in various forms.  This is a must see event for all fashionistas, art enthusiasts and music lovers!

This event is free and open to the public.
