Lots of live music enhanced FAM Night

There were 30 venues as part of Saturday's FAM Night (Fashion, Art and Music), but the "M" part, the music, seemed to be the star this month. The live music seemed to draw more visitors to the Grove for the monthly event. While new, fresh art welcomed them as they arrived.

From CocoWalk to the Bookstore on Florida Avenue to Commodore Plaza people enjoyed the live performances but the hit of the night had to be the Drum Circle on Commodore and Grand. A couple of hundred people at one time danced to the beat of the drums, they joined in to drum, they hula hooped and tamboreened.

Looks like the BID's plan to add the music and fashion to the gallery walk is working. Next month's event is Saturday, May 3. If you hadn't stopped by yet, you can enjoy the night out then.

Carly Jo Jackson there was real good. Excellent drums and bass, great voice, not to mention the captivating looks of the 6' tall blonde.. Apparently she'll come around every Saturday.
