The new police station

The new Police Substation at 3727 Grand Avenue in Village West kept reminding me of something. Then it dawned on me. Krazy Kat! This image above will be part of a caption contest on our Facebook page later today. So think of a great caption and you may win -- the winner gets 2 entry passes to this year's Coconut Grove Arts Festival which is Saturday through Monday (Feb. 15-17). The Village West police station will be the base of operations for two full-time city employees and local police officers (the NRO's). The City of Miami Police Department will have several police units and equipment on-hand for the public to view, such as a horse-mounted police officer, S.W.A.T. command truck, and the bomb squad. And maybe Krazy Kat and Ignatz.
