Something new for lunch

This is the Tuna Pita.

We're always looking for something new for lunch and I think I found it. My favorite thing at the moment is the Trini Chicken Curry Pita Pocket at The Blonde Bistro. Also, a close second is the Tuna in the pita. The chicken curry comes spicy or plain. Like the tuna it has lettuce, onion and lots of healthy things. The curry is really good. The Curry pita is $6.95 and the tuna pita is $6.75.

The Blonde Tulip has added a large menu to their coffee bar. They offer smoothies and organic teas, bagels, salads, soups and breakfast including all sorts of egg sandwiches including Eggs Benedict. And of course, they offer all sorts of coffee drinks, hot or cold.

The Blonde Tulip is at the Mayfair Atrium, right off of Florida Avenue at 3390 Mary Street, suite 136. They are open 7 days a week, but most of these items are available Monday thru Friday. Check with them on weekends, they also of course run a flower shop and they may be out at weddings and things on the weekend. They can be reached at 305-444-9899.
