New Art Therapy service opening in Center Grove

A group practice of art therapists is starting a new business in Coconut Grove, their grand opening will be December 7.  It's called Art Therapy Consulting Services (3339 Virginia Street). For an appointment or info: 305-707-5106.

The art therapists specialize in things like autism, stroke rehabilitation, cognitive impairment, learning disabilities, stress and anxiety, developmental delays, parent training, and more:

They hope to offer valuable services to the community and provide care and resources.

Amanda, founder of Art Therapy Consulting, is also president of the Florida Art Therapy Association, a 501cs non-profit, which was just awarded $7000 in grants that they plan to put to use around the Grove area. Verizon contributed $5000 (for domestic violence prevention and education) and CVS contributed $2000 (late life wellness). They were recently presented with a big check from Verizon at St. Alban's while painting a mural for them.

At last, some good news about the Grove. Glad to see there are still a few kind, positive, caring, respectful and helpful people remaining in the Grove. Thanks for the Grapevines support and posting this most noble endeavor.
